Critters on my walks

This cat never likes my attention 😄 I´m not sure of it´s gender but I like it´s color.

Not sure what species this is, but I like this color too. I might call it Rusty!

Fallow deer.
Now I know where these guys are and what time they are usually there. But sneaking up on them without being seen, is hard as they are at the far side of the field.
I was finally spotted and the herd went into the forest. Except for one. This deer was watching me for about 15 min before it left too. It seemed like it was standing guard as I could hear them communicate. It was very interesting

Dogs and birds

I was out for a walk, but these guys was jogging and passing me by.

Eurasian Jay - Nötskrika
They are usually noisy, but this one was alone and quiet.

Two grey wagtails juv are still here. They should have been gone by now. It is close to zero and they need to go south. - Forsärla

Across the small lake I noticed a grey heron.
I have not seen much of them this season so quite a rare sight.

The beautiful cat

I met this one yesterday. I saw it first time as a kitty, I think 4 years ago. It has blue eyes. I rarely see her. But every time she says "hello". It is hard to photograph her as she tends to stroke my legs as cats do. I wish I knew what her eyes are telling me!

As much as I like this cat I don´t want her at home. Both my arms and legs was full of white fur. And I am a bit allergic to animals.

Common crane family out for a walk

Common crane, ad and juv

The smallest lizard I have ever seen. Think it´s called forest lizard. Was really hard to catch on camera.

Common darter.
Dragonflies are back! This one usually comes in large numbers.

Fallow deers are back in the field, but soo hard to spot. This field is a mess. :(

Wildlife in my files

I think this is a muskrat - Bisamråtta. This was the only time I know I have seen it. It is not native to Sweden. Saw it in Kvismaren, a Nature reserve.

A rare bird to see in Sweden. And when I see it it is way to far out on the lake.

Today I have been diving in my files. It is quite fun actually. This is old shots but I have probably not posted them. The curlew and the grebe is shot with a 500 mm lens so not a too good quality compared with todays shots.

The horses was standing in first frost with a beautiful light on them. Very unusual so I had to stop.

I finally spotted a group of fallow deer. But they are so hard to catch these days. They take of as soon as they spot a person or even a car. I had to sneak through the forest to get this shot. A moment later they were gone. They probably heard the click from the camera.
