Piglets running wild

Several years now since I saw this place. Hard to get around when you don´t have a car anymore. Anyway, it was a pig farm and I was amazed of how well they seemed to be treated. They had a large area to run in and several shelters to hide and sleep in. And lots of mud of course.

First sight. The Roe deer in a field below the forest.

This is what the "forest" looks like today. The place where the deer went after dismissing me.

But, I too walked into the "forest". So, we meet again.

I feel bad for him to have to live in this kind of ruined forest.

This is a species that does not move around much.

This is his home!

They are soo  small. This nest could have fit in my palm.

In 2011 I visited Costa Rica on a birding tour. It was amazing. So many birds all over the place. 

But, I still remember our guide told us the number of birds had already declined. He showed us a place where they used to have a feeder but it was abanded at that time. 

So, makes me wonder how their situation are today. Can they still welcome tourists for birding trips??

Some critter fun with clay

Working with clay

I was given a bunch of clay last week. From a woman on our artgallery. 

So, what to do with it?? 

I took a part of it and rolled it ith m hand. Hm, a string? Now that´s a snake! 

So, it became a cobra. 

Then it needs an environment and food. So, three of my favorite mushrooms. 

Can serve as both food and forest. 

Now, they just need some paint! Then I will post them on my ART-blog.
