Nature are waking up

Four of the Fallow deer bucks were out on the field. But they are sooo wary. First sight of me and they are gone. I have to be very cautious to not be detected. But the field have dried up so it is not that slippery anymore.

We call this one Forest lizard, this was ablut 12cm long head to tail

This is a Viper. It has venom but not that strong.

Some of the cold-blooded ones have woken up. In Sweden, all cold-blooded animals are considered to be endangered and may not be killed

Far out in the pond a pair of Gadwalls were swimming

I said hello and welcome the the first white wagtail 😀

And, these days, everybody needs a hug. This mute swan gives it to you.

I hope everyone is healthy and well. I can still go out in nature as long as we are not a lot of people going. But I always go alone so there is no problems. This week I started to shop food and such for friends not as healthy as I am.

 This place was always crowded with ducks. Now it is almost empty!

 Snok! This snake has no venom. And it is very curious. It is my "spirit animal"

I and a friend visited Kvismaren a week ago. It was not fun! This place was crowded with birds when I first came here. But last year it was scarce and this time even less. There was more birders then birds :(  Most years at this, migration, time used to be thousands of geese, cranes and swans. Not to mention ducks. It is a sad thing to see what happens to nature and wildlife.

One part of this place, Öby kulle, is known for its snakes. Many people come here in spring to see them wake up and rest in the sun to get warmed up. There used to be two species but I only saw one of them. My favourite the Snok. This one is a swimmer and feeds mostly on fish.

On our way home we spotted a group of Fallow deer bucks. I was able to take a few shots through the car window.

This week we already had several forest fires in the south part of Sweden. That is not normal.  I am selfish and hope they will stay out of my neighborhood.

This snake lives mostly on fish so you fine it rather easy at a strem or lake. It has no poisen and are very curious. It has many color variations from brown to black. All except for the black had the white pattern on the head.

I liked the pattern the foam gave the top snake. The lower one just catched it´s lunch, a perch.

This snake is special to me. If I have a spirit animal, it should be this one.

The Creative Playroom 1 The hunt

Welcome to "The Creative Playroom" 1

The intention for this linkup is ART but in a broad meaning. I want to see that you have done some creative work. 

You can post digital art, images of your paintings and sketches, beautiful monocrome.
 Forget being serious for a while. Create strange worlds  and post them. Create beauty, funny, crazy things. Or moody ones. And then share them. The point is, have fun with it! And learn new things in the process.  This is just for the fun of being creative.
