I went for a walk in the forest today as the sun was shining. I found an old stump with this growing on it. Some kind of fungi and moss in the icy snow.

Some butterflies has not liked this year. They are scarce and rarely seen. But this one seem to like it. Lots of them  are flying now.

A fairy tale rock

This is a place I have not seen in a couple of years.  They destroyed the forest by cutting down a large area so I stopped walking there as it became hard to walk because of all the thickets growing fast.   Now I made a revisit. In one of the places it was no change. I was happy to see this overgrown old rock once again.

Seen in the forest yesterday. The tiny Goldcrest high up in the tree, hardly seen, still captured Sometimes you get lucky  :)
The orange twig is blueberry (bilberry) I think the strange orange colors comes from the draught last summer.
