You know them by now. This was a special moment when I found them in a glade.

I hope everyone is still fine and healthy. 

Wheather wise Sweden seem to be a bit shaky right now. We have got some of the floods as Central Europe suffer from. But not that severe. On my walk yesterday the weather changed from fine to thunder storm in minutes. Luckily I noticed the clouds comming up so I turned around halfway. I just got a bit wet. On my way home I passed two rather large branches on the road. But no fallen trees.

Fun birding this week

Swifts sailing the skies at Björkvik Church ruin

I spent 2 h of fun at the church ruin just enjoying the swifts. I went there as I figured the young birds would be on their wings now. And they was. I have never seen so many, ever. The past two years there was hardly any at the ruin. So I was surprised to see this many now. FUN!

I am heading out again today and probably can share a video next week. Fingers crossed. 

Some young mallards had fun in the rapids.

The Fallow dear gang in high crop.

When it comes to the deers I see a lot of males, obviously! But I have not seen any females for over a month. It was the same last year and I have no clue of where they are. And I wanted to see fawns. 

I have walked several, for me unknown, areas where forest is not yet cut down. Or farmed.  I still did not find them.

Horses and sheep

Horses at Björkvik! The dark one was really exited to see me. 👵😀 

The one all covered up seem to have quite a belly. A foal coming?? Have to get back and check.

Lambs, and lots of them. 

Top row is my daughter watching them. These are at a farm about 10 km from my daughters home. They have a shop where they sell products from the farm. Environmentally friendly products. Many products made of  wool and milk, as they also have cattle.
