Granite Gorge is the home of the
cute rock wallaby. They are friendly and will come right up to you. You can buy
little special pellets to feed them and they are most active at dusk. It is a
small one that thrives on rocks. A few had young ones that was soo small when
they were looking out. Small, but with sharp claws. One of us got scratches
from them as they reached to grab the pellets from your hand.
