Spring Mosaic in Sweden

Enjoying springtime this day. This is a place about 25 km from my home.
The avenue leads down to a castle. The other images is from an enclosure that probably will be inhabited with sheep soon.

Finally, raptors heading north

I wa out looking for cranes, but this was the best catch today. Raptors heading north. Most years I only see them once where I live, so I was happy. I did see two Buzzards and one Kite.

I found a new toy that I started to explore. For a long time I have wanted a feature that makes this "simple" type of sketches as I don´t know how to do it on my own and my version of Photoshop don´t look like this. So, I will keep this program :) Topaz!

A part of the Eriksbergs castle. A huge barn, I think for grain, and houses, maybe staff quarters.
And the grey one. Not sure of it. I peeked in there once and there was old stuff inside. Maybe a small museum? (Turned out to be an old stable for horses.)

What appear to be mist in the first image is in fact dust from a passing car. The lack of snow and rain have made the road really dry.
The lake have ice covering and the work here is to burn off some reed they don´t want the coming summer.
The fires takes place to the right of the second image.

Ericsbergs Castle - Eriksbergs Slott

Two weeks ago I payed a visit to one of the castles outside Katrineholm. It is one of the best-preserved and most magnificent baroque castles. You can read about it HERE It is said to have a ghost, as most old castles should have and she is called "Pinntorpafrun".

A mansion about 12km from my town. Spring is transforming the world from grey to green. Can´t be better. I went for a drive to check it out. A warm and summery feeling everywhere.
