The nuthatch flew away with a seed just as I pressed the button. :)

The Great spotted woodpecker is waiting for better times.

A Hawfinch is sitting pretty in the budding tree.  Some day I will try to paint it ;)

This is a place about 25 km from my home. There are a feeder and a tower at a nearby lake. There was not much birds at the lake yet. To early in the season.

Finally the ice is almost gone. The birds starts to arrive, but so far, in small numbers. The deer finally comes out in the open. They have been very shy this winter.

Took a round trip today to check the ice condition on some wetlands and small waters.  Most of the ice is gone. But the overall water level is too low.

I tested one of the setting for B&W photos on my HUAWEIP20Pro smartphone. I´m rather pleased with it.

It is very popular to take shots with "silky waters" nowadays. Personally I like the fierce look better but this if fun for a change. I think water shall look like water not milk. :)
