The nuthatch flew away with a seed just as I pressed the button. :)
The Great spotted woodpecker is waiting for better times.
A Hawfinch is sitting pretty in the budding tree. Some day I will try to paint it ;)

This is a place about 25 km from my home. There are a feeder and a tower at a nearby lake. There was not much birds at the lake yet. To early in the season.

The picture you have of the hawkfinch would make a lovely painting...those rich monochrome tones in the background complementing the beautiful bird. .... you have excellent photographers karma to get that beautiful flight shot by Accident! All I get that way is sky, where a bird used to be )))!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures here, thank you.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
A book and a chair where I can see the bird feeder, my favorite place.

ReplyDeleteThe hawfinch is very majestic. I can see why you would want to paint it.
