Alone and gathering

I found this little guy in the forest waiting för better times. Alone!

I´m not sure what species it is? 🐻🐴

At the other side of town the greylag geese are gathering for the fall migration. 

I have not seen any other critters lately. The fields have been harvested and lots of the bug infected forest has been cut down. The deers don´t like empty fields and can´t move in the branches and stumps in what was once a forest, so they are gone. When the geese are gone nature will be compleately emty! 

I can only hope at least the Dipper will return. But that will not happen yet. 

Hopefully a few deers will come back!

This is the old-fashioned barns of the mansion Claestorp. 

I am happy they saved the remains of this tree in the beginning of the avenue leading to the mansion. It really looks like a beautiful sculpture.

The fallow deer ladies are finally seen again with their new young. And they are already two months old and half grown. I faild to see newborn again.  It seems to me the females spend the summer in high grass or the forest, alone with their new born. That makes them impossible to see.

Motor sport Enduro SM

This week I have pretended to be a sports photographer. I happend to know they were competing in Enduro Swedish championship. I had a lot of fun doing it and I am really proud of the last shot. I can see the guys eyes. 😀

Critters outfit

The top butterflies are Wall brown and Red Admiral

Times are really changing. The empty pond I shared earlier are now visited be some early migratiing birds. In this pond I have never before seen Canada goose. Only greylag ones. So, in that image you see Canadgoose, Coot Whopperswans and a Northern Lapwing.

The 4th image. I thought it was cool to have a hard time seeing the juvenile gull on the dry asphalt. Perfectly camouflaged.

Regarding the last post I think I have to explain the outfit. 

Noone of these outfits are for beauty, display or chilly days. 

They are used to protect the horses from flies, moscitoes and nasty  twin-lobed deerflies. We have two kinds of the latter one. Both agressive to anyone. Also people. They have bitten me several times this 

summer and it hurts!

When I was a child and we were out in the field harvesting, it was our job to protect the horses from bites. 

So, they are protecting the horses, but summer is no time to get beautiful horse pictures.
