We finally got some snow. Snowy day no two was sunny so I took the cameras and went to Boda Kvarn. In the hope of seeing Dipper and deer. The lower water level made the dipper come back, and the fallow deer hinds were there too.
We finally got some snow. Snowy day no two was sunny so I took the cameras and went to Boda Kvarn. In the hope of seeing Dipper and deer. The lower water level made the dipper come back, and the fallow deer hinds were there too.
The lower force of the water made the white throated dipper come back.
And I got some snowy shots
A pair of whooper swans was present.
And then the fallow deer adventure. A herd of 16 hinds was present on the field.
Since they are always at the far end of the field, I have to sneak in to get close in hope that they do not notice it.
They all have snow on their noses.
After almost an hour on the field. They know I am present and tries to figure out if I am a threat.
They took off but did not disappear, they stopped at the edge of the forest. I took LOTS of shots but better save some for another week.
