A walk on a grey day, today that is, I noticed a flock of birds. Hardly visible. Grey birds on a grey day, not a great combination. From the red head I realized it is Common Redpoll. Our name, translated, would be "grey siskin". These guys hardly sit still and wait for you to take shots. This was the only decent shot I got. But as they say, one good image is enough to save the day.

  7. I'm never sure what bird is named what, but they are interesting. All different designs. This one although mostly grey has some pretty designs...love the touch of red.
