Not much wildlife around my place this week. Seems the birds headed up north and the deer was elsewhere. So i dived into my files.

140917 I visited MICHAELMAS CAY .  It is located outside Cairns in Queensland, Australia. We were on a birding and scuba diving tour. Lots of birds but much less fish.

Visiting the Barrier Reef outside Cairns. A small part of the island was used for human visitors. We were not allowed to walk into the bird area to avoid disturbing the birds. From the beach you could also go scuba diving. But, not with camera in hand.
