Mostly dippers

I like the posture it has in this shot  😀

The White-throated Dipper is fun to watch but so fast it is actually tricky to catch it. It is like: once you see it then you don´t. It has a habit of disappearing as soon as you pull the trigger. Luckily with digital it is not expensive to take a lot of shots.
Still only one bird seen.

There are only one wren at this place that I have seen. It is quick and like to hide in the bushes beside the stream. I saw it flying and where it landed. Pointed my camera and hoped for the best. The image is highly enlarged so I had to look close to see it in the image.  And it is sharp! A lucky shot! But sometimes you have to bee lucky  😀💖

  1. There is a good deal of similarity between dippers and wrens and your pictures tend to show this. Well done.

  2. Hello, I would love to see this Dipper and the cute Wren. Great sightings and photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy weekend. PS, thanks for the visit and comment on my post.

  3. Such great fast shots! You captured the movement of the birds and the water. I like fast speeds of water, which captures the droplets even, much better than slower ones where the water gets blurred into soft streams.

  4. The little Wren sure can hide in the brush! Love the water photos...you're birds are amazing!

  5. Beautiful photos. You were lucky to capture the wren and such a lovely shot too.

  6. ...and lucky you were! A great photo indeed. As you say, digital photography is the best when photographing wildlife & their antics!
