A lucky day

Fallow deer - Dovhjort
I was shooting a clover field when I turned around and spotted these, quite far away. I had to be really careful to get closer. I was happy because it was the first time this year I saw any in the beautiful summer hide.

Roe deer with two newborn - Rådjur m kid
Later on I spotted a roe deer on a field. First time I have seen that small ones.

The cots are now 2-3 weeks old and start to become juveniles. "teen ages" the redhead is disappearing. They now started to feed themselves a bit.

I was really lucky this day when it comes to wildlife. Deers I rarely see nowadays and roe deer newborn. Never happened before  :)

  1. I have had my own encounters with deer recently, and they have been unusually confiding. Great closeup shot of the European Shag.
