Bull finch in snow, finally. I waited a long time for this kind of shots when they are sitting in the snow. Not bare branches.
Guess which one is the male?

WOW, amazing! These little guys really show up beautifully against a gray, snowy background! Great capture. Thanks for sharing and for visiting this morning!
ReplyDeleteThey show up in the snow well.
ReplyDeleteLove em
Hello!:) How lovely!:) Your captures are just beautiful. Ha ha, the male is ever resplendent!:) I have often admired the Bullfinch, but never seen one in real time.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful shots -- and you were so patient to wait for the perfect ones especially in that cold weather. I'd be pretty surprised if I found out that the showiest one was not the male!! They are both beautiful in their own way!
ReplyDeletePerhaps a Eurasian Bullfinch lights up a tree on a snowy day the way a Northern Cardinal does here. It is by any standard a wonderful little bird.
ReplyDeleteHello, they are so pretty and colorful. Lovely birds and photos. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteOh how gorgeous they are! Perfect for snow photos! Glad you were successful getting these shots.
ReplyDeleteThey are so colourful, lovely photograph.
