Trees on mountains

Trees on mountains, a very graphic view. Today I take you to Varanger, as high up north in Norway as one can get. First two images was taken from the plane. The mountains covered with bare trees. The trees creating lines and curves following the mountains shapes. To me it looks like a pencil drawing where all the dots are trees for real. The last image I took from the car as we were going north to Båtsfjord in Varanger. More about the trip on my Travel blog. NF Travel, Norway

Yes, I like these beautiful pictures, wonderful snowy landscapes!
ReplyDeleteThey do indeed look like pencil drawings ... it's the black and white and no hint of color. It is beautiful in it's own way. Why are the trees bare? Our mountains are covered mostly with evergreen trees of one kind or another and are never bare. Very interesting and has a beauty of it's own.

very stark photos. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteWow, I thought you did do that with a drawing app. Beautiful angles yes. I'm thrilled to know you take pictures from the plane. I do whenever I can, but always think I'm the only one who ever does.
ReplyDeleteBrrr...but beautiful♪
