NF Photo 121122, Agadir Beach, Morocco
My trip to Morocco almost over that day. I spent the evening on the beach. It was an interesting experience to see the old culture and the modern culture side by side on the beach.

Contrastes belos e interessantes...gosto da pessoa com traje típico. Um abraço!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot at the beach.
ReplyDeleteInteresting juxtaposition of cultures...
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I cringe a bit when I see women dressed in abayas...fully concealed while the man with her is dressed in western street clothes...I can't help but think of the repression of women in these cultures.....
I really, really like this photo.
ReplyDeleteHerlig bilde, liker disen!
ReplyDeleteFlott fotoarbeid!
Lekkert, mye som kan tenkes om i dette bildet.
ReplyDeleteHa en fin kveld.

Beach scenes are the theme today on Gemma's meme (we often seem to think alike!) Yours is lovely -- mysterious and thought-provoking!
ReplyDeleteEt flott bilde fra stranden i Agadir. Liker kontrastene i de to parene på hver sin kant i bildeflaten.- både for komposisjonen og for de kulturelle kontrastene!
ReplyDeleteHa en fin helg:)
Wonderful mystical atmosphere in this scene! I think a large contribution to this feeling is the dark flowing robe on the left contrasting with the lighter tones of the setting!
ReplyDeleteYou are right Gemma, about my shot. It is the robe that does it. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone.
Gorgeous black and white!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful B&W--hope your time in Morocco was memorable!
ReplyDeleteGreat composition in B&W!

ReplyDeleteVery interesting indeed. Love the human contrasts.
ReplyDeleteWhat a powerful image, Monica. And good on you to have your photographer's eye wide open to capture this scene. Looks like it's worthy of a National Geographic submission.
