Icy art in Japan

Icy art in Japan

This is icy art in Japan. I am going through my files from the trip I was on in the beginning of the year. We were going south to see great eagles in Hokkaido, Japan. I think we started 06.00h in the morning, dark and cold. It was cold in the bus as well and we were in for a three hours drive. After a while frost was created on the windows. So I started to "paint" in it. I was happy to see the frost helped too. It created new crystals where I had melted some with my fingers. The blue tint comes from the color of the window. I guess you can say this is very temporary art. But, it was not me if I did not take shots.

I was going through the files as I am going to create next years calender from them. :)

This time I played around with something called Puppet Warp. You find it in Edit in CS5. It is a way to deform the image. A bit tricky to handle but quite fun. After deforming the image I made the orange background and applied inner and outer glow to the image. (believe it or not, but this is a bustop close to my home)

Reflections in Maren, water in the city

Former school for girls.  Nowadays an art gallery and a scool for dancing classes. Been running up and down those stairs a lot. Troublesome in winter.

Wladyslaw Hasior art work
In 1972 Hasior constructed a sculpture entitled The Scandinavian Chariot in Sweden. Or  "Solspann" in Swedish,  but mostly called: Hasiors horses / Hasiors hästar. I think it is 6 horses in total.

A troublesome passage for the ambulance. I hope the patient was not severely injured or sick. The ambulande rreflected in the bus.
