I had noticed a few deers on the other side of the field when I was frightened by a sound. Looking to my left side I saw all of these greylag geese taking off.
Following the geese I got a shot with both the geese, fallow deer does and the farm. I liked that!
The first coots has arrived at the pond. Here with a female mallard. From the posture the coot seem to be ready for the mating fights.
I have heard the Common cranes before but now I had a pair fairly close.
Fallow deer does. There always seem to be one in charge of watching out for dangers. This one was very aware of me despite the fact we had a piece of wetland between us.

A fabulous day indeed. As you say, the juxtaposition of the Greylag Geese with the deer is especially pleasing. The rewards of spring were on display for you!

ReplyDeleteLoved your shot with geese, deer and barn! It shows there is life in all it's glory. The cranes doing their mating rituals are wonderful to watch. Of course weather might make a difference.
