These days I have seen a few of these. I jumped of my bike to take a shot and spotted a horse in the enclosure. One of those that usually runs away faster then light when they see me. But this time I was on a different road and on a bike. Carefully I continued on the road. Hoping it would still be there when I returned.
On my way back I spotted this cat watching me as it was also checking the horses. It is probably the stable cat and feels protective of the horses. I parked the bike and checked the slope behind a bush. One horse was seen.
This one stood alone for a while, checking me, but did not leave.
Soon a few others arrived and as the first one was cool with me the rest did not leave either
Getting curious and started to come down the slope.
They seem to be a bit unsure.
And this is when I decided to give them a break. I carefully took the bike and walked away. They did stay put as long as I saw them. Now when I could see them really well I saw they are even more beautiful then I thought.
This made my day for sure. 😀💖

Hello,
ReplyDeleteThe cat is really checking you out. I love all the horses, they are beautiful animals.
Wonderful series of photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your day! Wishing you a happy weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
What smart looking horses. I like your butterfly too. Is it and Orange Tip?
ReplyDeleteI am quite sure those horses do not balk at a human, being used to them as they are. When we were monitoring Barn Swallow nests in a barn with horses, they used to nuzzle up against us like friendly dogs wanting to be petted.
ReplyDeleteHello. Wonderful photos. The horses are beautiful. Photo of cat is great.
ReplyDeleteThe horse photos are very appealing, especially the one framed against the bright sky. I also like the cat.

That's great that you explained how you took these photos...out biking and then with camera poised. So glad you got those great horse photos!
ReplyDeleteAll are lovely photographs, I especially like seeing horses.
