The Mute swans are mostly on the far side of the lake so this day I was happy to see them close.


 A long tailed tit turned up at the forest feeder.

Eurasian siskin, so fun to watch in wintertime  when they come in huge flocks.

  3. Your first image is so classic of the heraldic pose of the Mute Swan. To people unfamiliar with birds this is what a swan looks like!
