Peekaboo!
The Mute swans are mostly on the far side of the lake so this day I was happy to see them close.
A long tailed tit turned up at the forest feeder.
Eurasian siskin, so fun to watch in wintertime when they come in huge flocks.

Hello, great variety of birds. I love the swans, especially the first photo. The Long-tailed Tit is a beauty and the Siskins are sweet. Wonderful photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend. PS, thanks always for visiting and commenting on my blog.
ReplyDeleteThe big bird and the little bird ... a wonderful combination!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Your first image is so classic of the heraldic pose of the Mute Swan. To people unfamiliar with birds this is what a swan looks like!
ReplyDeleteHello. Lovely birds! I haven't seen a long-tailed tit in this year. The first photo is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the action shot of the swans...this shows the effort to turn from the graceful floating creatures into flying ones.
ReplyDeleteI just love long-tailed tits they are so pretty. I wish we had swans nearby they are so photogenic. Cheers Diane
