Fallow deer in the first snow.
This was the best photo my camera could make. They are far off to the other side of a very wet and muddy field. Impossible to walk on if you don´t want 2 kg dirt on your boots. Maybe that is why they always stay close to forest edge. Not that muddy and easy to run off.
This one is still alone. No friens showing up and now winter is here.
The fieldfare was very active this day. Searching for berries,

Hello, looks like a big herd of deer. Neat sighting. I love the Dipper and your pretty Fieldfare. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend. PS, thanks for the visit and comment on my blog.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. How fortunate you were to spot the deer. The Dipper almost looks like a little blob of snow!
ReplyDeleteHow neat to see so many deer! Looks cold in your part of the world! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteBrrr it does look cold!
ReplyDeleteThree lovely photographs.
All the best Jan
thanks!
ReplyDeleteExcellent scene with the deer, but the snow makes this look cold. Like your photo of the rocks in the stream.
