I was happy to see the Gadwall, first time I saw any this close. And never before in my closest lake. And he was alone, no female. Strange! They are usually pairs.
The fieldfare are here but not as many as usual. :(

Lovely views of the gadwall ... looks like it was boys night out ther ))....maybe, seriously, they just haven’t paired up yet?
