Deers and a honeyeater

Two days ago I finally see a flock of Fallow deer bucks! I have not seen any since last winter. They were rather far away so I used a long lens. So nice to see they are still around. Males in different ages.

 Spotted!

I´m going through images from my trip to Queensland 4 years ago. I saw this bird several times but this was the closest I got. If I had more time I might get some but on trips your time is always limited. This is a very beautiful bird.

  2. Ah...nice catch, with the deer. I'm so surprised how infrequently I see deer here in Florida. I guess too much undergrowth to disappear in.

  6. Australians Honeyeaters are pretty exotic looking birds to those of us not used to seeing them.
