The top image is snowing visible in the light. there was a special light that we could see but that did not disturb the owls. The owls was wild so you could never be really sure if they arrived. We did see 2 of them, a family of 4.
I think the pattern of the snow was due to the light that was "blinking" rapidly. Not sure how it worked.
