I was sitting down taking macros of the dewdrops on the leaf. Moving the camera a bit revealed the little snail I had not seen when I took the first images. So, of course, I had to take some more.

ReplyDeleteFun series .... you were patient and it paid off!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great series and especially love the last shot of the snail hanging down out of his shell. Love your Saturday Critter!
ReplyDeleteFunny how the shell does for a snail what the squirrel's tail does for the squirrel.
ReplyDeleteMakes 'em more adorable to us then the slugs and rats.
(P.S. I had care of a pet rat from elementary school over the summer in 4th grade. Wade was a kind and wise critter!)

Funny this. Last night I was listening to the Cuban singer songwriter's melody "La Gota de Rocío" (The Drewdrop, literally). Great photo.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from London.

ReplyDeleteThese are very beautiful, I really love the dewdrop here.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! It looks like the snail if trying to clear and obstacle course. I wander how he sees the water. #OurWorldTuesday
