  3. What I love about this photo is the simplicity of it and yet its grandiosity. Thanks.

  4. A simple seat with a grand view it seems. An atmospheric scene.

  6. I love this shot! That bench looks like it could tell a lot of stories of all the people who have rested on it over the years.

  7. Very nicely composed and captured. I like the mood that this image inspires. One can imagine spending time here with nothing but their thoughts. Have a blessed week-end.

  8. Perfect spot to rest and reflect after a good walk.

In answer to your question about hurricane season (your email address didn't work for me): In the areas of the USA in the hurricane zone, the season is June through October or so .... nobody knows if or when one will hit any particular place of course. Especially with the weather changing like it is. Our hope (and plan) is to be away from Florida during those months, but of course we still worry about our little cottage. (And of course many families live permanently everywhere in the hurricane zone without any other home to go to. There are shelters and emergency plans of course, but it would be horrible and scary to be in one). So far in the eight seasons we have been coming here, no hurricanes have hit this area of Florida. We hope that continues, but know we can't count on it for sure.

    1. thanks Sallie, never realized you guys were like the migrating birds. Maybe that is why so much property is destroyed but not many lives taken :)

  9. Looks lonely and abandoned..and moss/algae growing on the bench. Still, a good shot.
