Trees at Borghamns Hostel

This is the pathway to an old graveyard for workers at the local quarry. In the old days there was much hardship here and many died young. The old oaks witnessed it all and it seems they stand guard now.

    I am drooling all over these pictures (sorry) ... I love old oaks and these are some of the best shots I think I have ever seen of them. The perspective in the first guiding our eyes to the old majestic Oak and the old stone fence and the trees watching over their wards ... Deliciously beautiful and full of stories to be told.     What wonderful photos! I am not sure whether the trees enhance the fences, or if the fences enhance the trees....all I know is I love both!

    What a great shot of the trees between the fence lines. This is a great old cemetery. I enjoyed seeing the trees very much.
