Jag tog bilen och tänkte leta fåglar.
I took the car and went to look for birds.

Först letade jag rätt på den lilla tjärnen i närheten av Ökna. Fortfarande is där.
At first I went to the little wetland close to a place named Ökna. Still ice on the water.
Vid Ökna fann jag de flesta fåglarna. De kommer nu vällande in över landet i tusental.
At Ökna I found most of the birds. They are now coming in thousends heading north.
På väg tillbaka stannade jag vid rastplatsen i närheten av Flen. Där finns ett spännande kostverk. Tråkigt nog letade jag inte efter någon skylt på den. Sjön är fortfarande isbelagd..
On my way back I stoped at Stenhammars halting place. Close to Flen. At that place there is a piece of art that I like. Sadly enough I forgot to look for a sign describing it. The lake still covered with ice.

Great day!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteOh, a great day indeed and what marvelous captures! I love the birds! And such a lovely place! Hope you have a wonderful week!

What a lovely trio of photos this week. The waters and the birds are so nice, and the sculpture is most impressive. There is something about the first shot that makes it appear to be twinkling in the light. No wonder the waterfowl are so happy to be there. genie
ReplyDeleteYou have had a long, cold winter it seems, no wonder you are ready for Spring!
ReplyDeleteIt looks nice and sunny even with the ice still on the lakes.

ReplyDeleteWe have thousands of birds (tundra swans) stopping over here too! There were approximately 5,000 on the pond the day I went to take photos.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenery - I would like to visit the top one.
ReplyDeleteThe birds are arriving here, and establishing their territories for the breeding season. There was still some ice on the river the last time I was there.
