Missing them

northern shoveler

horned grebe

common merganser

Three of the species I have not seen this year.
The grebe and the merganser usually have been many birds in the lakes but not this year.
The shoveler usually were few but still present.
I have missed them.

  3. I've only seen the merganser here. So thank you for the two new ones. They are fabulous. Especially the shoveler.

  4. Beautiful photos. We are still hoping to see a few birds this Fall that we missed seeing this summer. Every year is different.
