Kanadagoose taking off for the migration south. They are now gone.
Top: Wild horses in Yellowstone.
Bottom: Hoopoe! (Härfågel)
Today I finish off with two art images I normally post on my artblog.
I took the photo of the horses in Yellowstone a couple of years ago. I have now manipulated it to fit Rains challenge this week.
The Hoopoe is a painting I painted with acrylics on A4 watercolor paper.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI love your art work, the horses and the Hoopoe. The green caterpillar is such a bright green, it is pretty. Beautiful photo of the horses. Great shots of the Geese. Thank you so much for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend. PS, I appreciate your comment and visit.
Great job with the Hoopoe - one of the birds every North American visiting Europe hopes to see.
ReplyDeleteThe caterpillar is cute. Your Hoopoe painting is nice, I was lucky to spot one in my last outing. The horse does look powerful.

Hello,:=) I love your painting of the Hoopoe, I didn't know you were an artist too! I paint portraits. Lovely little caterpillars, and sturdy horse captures. It's sad to see birds migrating.
ReplyDeleteYes, Monica, let us cross the fingers. We hope for better days.
ReplyDeleteThe big horse is a powerful one. And I love your painting.
Happy MosaicMonday
I've seen little guys like that on my geranium leaves, I've had to pick them off.
ReplyDeleteMonica - the bright green of those caterpillars is stunning - almost fluorescent! The series of the Canada Geese leaving is so representative of the season! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mosaic Monday
