This is Boda Kvarn, an old mill about 20km from my town. Kvarn means mill in English. This place is now a kind of museum. A group of people takes care of it and closes and opens the dam when needed. Right now it is rather much water as it has rained a lot. This is also the place where there used to be Dippers in wintertime. There was one a few weeks ago but it seem to have left. They like colder weather and it is unusually warm this winter. I hope it comes back!

Oh my, your collages are just breathtaking! Thank you! Wishing you a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteLooks cold and rainy. We have that to look forward to when we get back home to the Pacific Northwest. - Margy
ReplyDeleteMonica - I don't mind a rainy day if I am in such a lovely historic place as this. I think of it as a very romantic location. Thanks so much for sharing your mosaic with everyone at Mosaic Monday!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteIt is a pretty spot for the museum and mill. I hope the Dippers return. Take care, have a great day and a happy week!
What a shame the Dipper has left. Maybe it was just playing hide and seek with you and will be there when you next visit.
ReplyDeleteYour photos look like black and whites with just a touch of color! How neat! Hope the Dippers return when you are there next time. holiday hugs!
