Moose cow and calf
A young Moose bull. Maybe the cows calf from last year. You see the small antlers, and they are bloody.
Moose family. All three visible here.
I noticed the moose from across a field. I was happy to see there was tree of them. Earlier I have only seen two. I assume the young bull is also the cows offspring. Or else he would not be with them.
Coming home I realized the moose hunt is about to begin. I can only hope they survive.
A herd of sheep tending the landscape.
Walking into the reserve I immediately got company. 😍

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI love the moose, they were one of my favorite critters to see in Yellowstone and the Tetons. You are lucky to see them nearby, I hope they stay safe. Great view of the Mallards. The sheep are so cute. Great photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care and stay well. Have a great day, happy weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
A moose is always one if the most splendid creatures to see. Here in Ontario Algonquin Provincial Park is a good place for viewing, especially in spring when the black flies and mosquitos drive them out of the deep woods and into open areas where they can benefit from cross winds.
ReplyDeleteThe sheep are beautiful and moose...oh my! That's something you don't see every day! What big strong animals. Glad you found another neat place to visit! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteSuper glad you've got a new place...and I want to commend you on having so many animals in beautiful photos. Thanks for sharing here!
