Autumn critters

These two sturdy horses are at the same place as the horses I shared before. But they are for themselves in a different enclosure. I think they are "retired". Most of the time they are at the back of the pasture and not easy to see. I think you can say they are almost "wild". But they have an open barn to seek shelter if needed. And they are taken care of, if not washed.  Not sure what kind of breed they are.

A misty morning and sheep in a pasture. I thought the lone one was a rock at first sight.
😁

One of the White-throated dippers has arrived. If we are lucky there will be one or two more.

Playing hide and seek!

Take care everyone. The C is still around. It is great though to be able to walk in nature without risk to get infected.

  1. Hello,
I love seeing the horses, they are beautiful. The sheep are cute. Your Dipper is beautiful, the one I have seen here is kind of plain looking. Great photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your day and weekend! PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

  5. Wonderful photos. Work horses always look so amazing, and I love sheep just because I love sheep :) Have never seen the beautiful dipper bird before. You have a lovely area to view nature.

  6. Everything here is quite fantastic, but the Dipper is wonderful! Every time I have ever seen this little beauty, I feel as though I need to park a chair and sit and watch it for hours. Stay well and stay safe. The pandemic is not done with us yet.

  11. I’m so glad you’re able to get outside (and glad we can also). Love the dipper ... I see them here sometimes but can never get pictures, they always dip too quickly for me! Those horses def Italy look like working animals, like they might have pulled a plow or something (maybe as a demonstration of pioneer farming or something? )
