Horned grebe done molting. Not that much beauty anymore
The chick at the head, Hardly seen.
Two of the best shots ever I have of the snipe/enkelbeckasin.
It is soon time for them to return south so I have to go looking for them. Hopefully some will turn up. © NF Photo 150809
Coot! Full speed ahead!
Chimney sweeper - Sotmätare
I have seen this one in "normal" numbers.
Holly blue - Tosteblåvinge
These are usually seen in large numbers. This year I have only seen two. And this one looks worn out.
The chick at the head, Hardly seen.
Horned grebe pair lost two of the eggs but one was hatched.
It is hard to see the chick as they swim on the other side of the lake and it is impossible to get good shots with the camera I have. At least I see them. Two of the best shots ever I have of the snipe/enkelbeckasin.
