An Osprey with it´s prey. If you wonder, the fish, a pike, was not captured in the moss. It was at a nearby wetland.
And, today Blogger-GOOGLE decided to help me with the language. For the first time in 10 years, since I started them, the language is Swedish. Now I have to see where I can change it back to English. I wonder if I am alowed to write in English???

That's a big fish. Hope that osprey didn't have to travel far.
ReplyDeleteThe osprey shot is amazing! The fish appears to be almost as large as the bird.

huge fish...wonderful bird. one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteyou asked how I got photos on the cruise ship without people...my VERY early time for walking! Most were in their cabins, still asleep.
For this week, I send my thanks to you for sharing with us bird lovers at I'd Rather B Birdin'!
DeleteSuch a pretty place. Great capture of the osprey.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot of the osprey with a fish dinner in his claws!
ReplyDeleteHelluva great catch...in both senses of the term. Reminds me of a WWII fighter plane with a torpedo fitted below.
ReplyDeleteWow - that last shot is magnificent!
ReplyDeleteAn incredible capture with the osprey. If I didn't know better, I would think he was doing the fish a favor and carrying it from one spot to another!

ReplyDeleteI'm sure you get Blogger straightened out. Software can be a little crazy sometimes.
ReplyDeletethanks!
ReplyDeleteThat flight shot of the osprey with the fish is stunning -- great detail. I'm getting a post ready for later that has a pic of an osprey with a fish, but it is shameful next to yours!!! Wow, I wish I were good enough to get flight shots...am just too slow. Thanks for showing all of this mossy area. It's fun to know that the osprey is at home here in Florida AND in your rather colder land!!! Love it.
ReplyDeletethanks Sallie. It needs a fast lens and lots of practice :)
DeleteWow! Perfec capture of the catch
