Well, what can I say? The sun was shining on the powerlines and rails today and highliting everything metal. In SC5 I enhanced the effect a little. And saved the image as black and white. Then I accidently happend to erase a bit of the image using the pencil to about 50% visibility. Thought it looked cool so I´m posting that one as well. :)

This is a rock I bought in Yellowstone NP many years ago. It was a present to my sister and I borrowed it a couple of weeks ago. Meaning to take some shots of it. When I was doing an aerobics class in front of the tv-set when I suddenly noticed the face. Never seen it before and yet it is clearly seen. But only from this angle.

This is no night sky, nor is it winter. It is a much underexposed image of the feather floating on a lakes surface. And the "stars" is dust or pollen or whatever.

Flowering fence

Flowering fence? Well, it gave me that feeling. :) This is a little garden in the allotment Mogetorp close to where I live. Flowers still lean to an old fashioned fence. This type of fence was common in the countryside in the old days. And people still loves them. So do I.

The Art for DAM this week is black and white as that is the oprional challenge given for this edition.

Today I refuse to share the original shot as it is sooo lousy! I really only took a test shot in my bookshelf. With that said I can reveal I created the first image in Adobe Camera Raw. About a year ago I found a tricky way to create this kind of images. The only back draw is that the images becomes small in size as I use the "print screen" to capture it. For the second image I added the filter "colored pencil" in PS CS5.
