Once I owned s Scottish Deerhound, a hound that before the battle of Culloden 1745 only was to be owned by kings and earls. His fur had the shades of Your pictures and his mind was as soft as the light therein. He was fast as the lightning when he was allowed to let his power explode and his loyalty above any doubt. We called him Gregor but his name was Bagpipe. I wished it had been Thistle!
ReplyDeleteAll this brought Your beautiful pictures to my mind.
Thank You!
Great macro details of the thistle! The second photo in particular is magical!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, and so clever to show positive and negative.
ReplyDeleteFlott kontrast i begge versjoner. Røft uttrykk som passer tistlen. Bra i sort/hvitt. Ha en fin helg :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Dragonstar. Excellent images.
ReplyDeleteIntressanta "positiva" bilder. Finns inget "negativt" att säga om dem. Är det du som misshandlat den?
ReplyDeleteMycket vackra kontraster!
ReplyDeleteHa en fin helg :)

ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
Delightful, especially the explosiveness of the second.

ReplyDeleteGreat B&W shot--everything seems more dramatic in B&W. Love the pink flower in the previous post--beautiful. Mickie
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, and so very dramatic with the lack of color - makes it look quite intense in texture.
ReplyDeleteMy Monday feature is: COLORFUL fungus
Härliga postiva/negativa bilder av tisteln!
ReplyDeleteYep, that's thistle. At first, it kinda looked like a dandelion. Pretty enough to frame.
ReplyDeletethanks!
