Snowstorm in subtropic Japan

A big surprise for birders and birds. Southern part of Japan, Kyushu, suddenly was hit by a snowstorm. First one in about 100 years.

  3. Oh, there's another Bulbul ... so cool. And what is he eating? Great catch :) A snow storm in Japan that they haven't had in 100 years and it happened when you were there ... were you accused of bringing it with you? Love your Kites too ... don't have any of them near us, so I have never seen anything but pictures of them. Hope to change that some day :) Great post, Monica ...
