Well, there is one thing you can say about this tree, it is "Made in China".  We have one tree in the City Park in my city and the flowers are really different from other trees. It is like a lot of handkerchiefs are hanging from the branches. Quite cool actually.To know more about them follow the links below.

  13. Well it sure must be hardy to survive your winters. It is a stunning tree ... or should I say the flowers are stunning. Differnet than anything I have ever seen ... Leave it to you to find such a tree. Beautiful shots by the way.

  19. What unique flowers Monica and they do look like a hankerchief....I have never seen one before, but if it is native to China maybe it can't be in this climate, but it does well in your climate...Michelle
