Tornseglare / Common Swift at Hagebyberga

I´ve been out birding today and at this place I found a lot of Common Swifts.  It is a ruin of an medieval church and the Swifts seemed to like it a lot. I had a lot of fun standing there trying to catch them. I did see one flying in under a pan and out again after a while. So there are nests. But of course they are too fast to capture entering them. I love their sound so I was there for a long while. Maybe I should bring some gear and see if I can get a movie.

  1. Beautiful bird! There are chimney swifts in Oregon, but I've never been able to get a picture.
