Snowy leaves

I can´t remember seeing this before. They looked like white leavs of the giant waterlily. This is a stream and the foam shaped them. Cool to see them moving up and down in the waves.

  17. This seems unusual to me too. Usually waterlily leaves disappear before a hard freeze. Makes for a neat photo!

  28. Fantastic photo..I remember reading about these when I was looking for info about our pond. I think they were called ice disks and had to do with changing temperatures. They really are neat looking. Thank you for linking into Nature Notes Monica... Michelle
